S.U.N. hopes to contribute to continuing public and academic discussion of these topics through future publications and conferences. We aim to wed academic precision with the language of the public.

S.U.N. encourages individuals to cultivate a direct personal relationship with God. For centuries people have responded to an inner urge to connect with God. A variety of approaches and preparations have been used. Contemporary seekers may find it useful to learn from the experiences of others, past and present, who have traveled this road. S.U.N. encourages individuals to share their personal experiences of God with one another. Although each person needs only one path to God, it can be exciting to share with people who have had different experiences. Sharing experiences of God's interaction can be inspirational and can expand one's understanding of God's activity.
